Our goal at Bachata House is to continue spreading the love for bachata in Copenhagen through teaching everyone from new to advanced dancers in a fun and engaging way.
At Bachata House, we are proud to be true ‘bachata nerds’, training and teaching all styles of bachata, reaching from the fun & playful Traditional bachata to the smooth & artistic Sensual bachata.
With us, high quality classes are guaranteed, and you can get all the advice and inspiration that you need for your dancing, no matter what style of bachata you like or what level you are dancing at.
Everyone has their own journey in dance. But everyone also needs a home – we want Bachata House to be yours!

Meet The Team
Our team is made up of passionate dancers who not only love bachata, but love sharing it.
Each of us brings something unique to the floor – whether it’s musicality, technique, creativity, connection, or pure joy. But what we all share is a deep commitment to creating a space where people feel safe to grow, explore, and have fun.
Zoe took her first beginner class at Bachata House in 2022 and quickly became addicted to the dance, progressing to the advanced level in a short time. Since then, she has travelled internationally to train with some of the world’s leading instructors. Zoe’s dance style is rooted in connection, creativity, musicality, and personal presence.
As an instructor, Zoe is dedicated to creating an empowering and growth-oriented atmosphere, drawing on her experiences both as a dancer and as a certified coach. She loves supporting people in finding confidence and their own unique expression in the dance. In Zoe’s classes, you can expect a supportive, fun, challenging, and caring approach.
Zoe
Originally from Cyprus, Christos began his dance journey at a young age with Greek and Cypriot traditional dances. His passion for movement led him to breaking, where he spent seven years as an active B-boy. During his university years in Cyprus, he discovered Latin dance, and since moving to Denmark five years ago, he has focused primarily on bachata.
Christos completed the Esencia Method Teachers Program in 2024 and is the founder of the Aphrodite Bachata Experience, an annual bachata festival held in Cyprus. His commitment to growth and performance has also led him to notable achievements, including 1st place in the Jack and Jill at the Bachata King Kos Festival 2023 and 1st place in the Bachata Battle at the Berlin Bachata Festival 2024. Expect a lot of passion and fun from Christos on the dance floor!
Xristos
Sophie has been dancing from an early age and has become a versatile dancer through her experience with many different styles from jazz and hiphop to dancehall and musical theater. In 2019, she discovered her passion for bachata and in 2023 she lived in Barcelona, learning from the best dancers and instructors in the world.
Sophie’s dance style is influenced by all the various styles from her background and she enjoys combining urban styles with elegant lines in her styling.
As an instructor, Sophie’s goal is to inspire and build confidence in her students and give them the tools to find their own style while creating a fun and safe learning space.

Sofie has 9 years of dance experience, starting with salsa and later diving into the bachata – and over the last 3 years, she has been sharing a passion for bachata through teaching in different schools and events in Copenhagen.
As a dancer, she brings a strong technical foundation combined with an amazing energy on the dance floor. As an instructor, she is known for her energetic, present, and down-to-earth approach. Don’t miss the chance to learn from her!
Sofie
Katinka has been teaching salsa and bachata since 2014, and has been an essential part in shaping the Copenhagen bachata community. She has been teaching and performing bachata all over Europe in the biggest bachata events and festivals, and in 2020 she co-founded Bachata House with Erik.
Katinka’s dancing style is characterized by smooth and sensual body movements combined with modern and creative lady styling. As an instructor, she creates a fun environment while constantly pushing her students to become the best dancers they can be.

Imad has danced since 2010, and has been teaching since 2018 – both locally across Denmark and internationally at many large bachata events across Europe.
As a dancer, he is known for his clear lead combined with his creativity, creating an amazing sensual and dynamic expression. As an instructor,, he is focused on creating a fun and enthusiastic atmosphere in every class, while ensuring that his students grasp the fundamentals, empowering them to shine on the dance floor.
Imad
Erik started teaching salsa in 2014, and within a few years became one of the pioneers of bachata in Copenhagen. In addition to teaching in Copenhagen, Erik has been teaching and performing bachata all over Europe in the biggest bachata events and festivals, and in 2020 he co-founded Bachata House with Katinka.
Erik is known for his unique musicality and creativity in his dancing combined with a clear and comfortable lead. In his teaching, he focuses on giving his students both technique and creative inspiration in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Erik
Daniel is one of the longest-standing members of the Copenhagen bachata scene and has been part of the community since its very beginning. Daniel originally started dancing salsa in 2014 and discovered his big passion for bachata a few years later. He has travelled around the world, drawing inspiration from some of the world’s best instructors.
Daniel has a deep passion for the roots of the dance and has taken classes in both Cuba and the Dominican Republic. He aims to preserve traditional elements in his dancing, blending these with modern elements. As an instructor, he has a down-to-earth approach, creating an environment where students can grow, explore, and genuinely enjoy their dancing.

Christina began her dance journey in 2021 and quickly fell in love with the world of bachata. Since then, she has immersed herself in the international dance scene, attending numerous festivals around Europe. especially in Spain, where she continues to train and draw inspiration from top instructors.
As a dancer, Christina brings her positive energy and elegant approach to the dance floor, creating a beautiful and connected social dance. As an instructor, she brings a calm, down-to-earth approach to her classes and focuses on creating a supportive and relaxed environment. Her favorite part of teaching is seeing her students grow and become ready to enjoy the magic of social dancing.

Ash started dancing kizomba in 2019 and started with bachata shortly after. He has been trained by Erik & Katinka while traveling to bachata festivals and congresses all over the world, giving him the tools to develop his own style of dancing and teaching. He has also participated in 2 competitions, achieving 1st place in Bachata King Festival 2022 in Kos, Greece and 2nd place in the Rising Stars Competition 2023 in Amsterdam with Andrea.
Ash’s dancing is characterized by the urban spark he adds to his sensual bachata background. The result is a modern and edgy style mixed with the traditional elegance of sensual bachata. As an instructor, Ash gives his students the tools to find their own style, through a combination of technique, creativity and a safe learning space.

Originally from Spain, Ane began her dance journey with ballet as a child. After moving to Denmark, she started teaching bachata in 2016 and was part of the founding team of Bachata House in 2020. With over nine years of teaching experience, she offers a strong foundation in technique and a distinctive artistic style. Ane holds a two-year professional dance education and has a special passion for heels dancing.
Known for her smooth, sensual flow and elegant movement quality, Ane blends her diverse dance background into a unique bachata style. As an instructor, she is deeply committed to technique, body awareness, confidence, and connection – both with the music and between partners. Through dance, she aims to empower and build inclusive, supportive communities.

Originally from Morocco, Amine discovered his passion for dancing after moving to Copenhagen, where he started dancing in 2022. His dedication and enthusiasm quickly led him to teaching both salsa and bachata classes, where he discovered his talent for breaking down technique while keeping the vibe fun and relaxed.
Amine’s dance style reflects his love for connection, musical interpretation and creating a natural flow between partners, guided by the rhythm and emotion of the music. With a background as a musician and music teacher, he combines his natural musicality with a warm and inviting teaching style to create an inclusive space where students feel supported and inspired to grow.
